We have it on reliable source that our big laundry in Arorangi is bigger than even some of the bigger ones in Fiji, and our little laundries in Avatiu and Muri are, well - small.

Every day we go around the island to pick up and deliver laundry, twice per day. Our customers choose if they use our linen or their own. Chances are, if you ever bedded your head in Rarotonga, you would have been sleeping in our sheets.

Yes, we welcome walk ins! Our door is always open to help out with the washing. When it's raining cats and dogs we are happy to help, even with the drying only. When all the relatives arrive at once, and there are not enough sheets and towels to go around, let us wash and dry them. Or if you have better things to do - let us do your washing!

Every Wednesday the only drycleaning machine in the country jumps into action. Drop off your goodies until late on Tuesday, and you're in: All will be done and clean by noon on Wednesday. We can also steampress your delicate fabrics, and that on any day of the week.

Since we have such a great relationship with our detergent suppliers we thought we offer their products to the rest of the island. We have dishwash detergents, washing detergents, fabric softeners, disinfectants, outdoor cleaners, whatever your heart (restaurant, hotel) requires. Wherever possible - and sensible - we are sourcing, using and selling phosphate free products. We owe that to our children.

The Cook Islands may well have been the last civilised country without a sanitary hygiene service. That has changed. About a year ago we started offering a regular service with Disbin, the one solution that makes sense for a small island like this. And the yachties like the Disbins, too.
